IN MISSION

The mission of the LWML Oregon District Young Women in Mission Committee is to create a generational bridge which encourages and develops unity within the LWML.

All Nations, All Languages Todas Las Nagiones Todo Lenguage

Young Women in Mission, Heart to Heart - Sisters of all Nations and other attendees participated in a special gathering at Hope Lutheran Church in Woodburn on August 17, 2024. Deaconess Noemi Guerra was invited to be the presenter. She serves with the Texas District LCMS and is a writer of Lutheran Hour Ministries daily devotions in Spanish.

The purpose of the Committee on Young Women is to:

Guide LWML leaders with resources to help make connections with young women.
Produce and facilitate the Young Woman Representatives (YWR) program for the LWML Convention.
Empower and mentor younger women to connect and grow in relationships as sisters in Christ.
Equip and encourage young women to become more involved in their congregation and the mission of the LWML.
